The Penta Cross of Carlisne (or Pentacruz) is the highest civilian and diplomatic honor awarded by the Principality of Carlisne. Conceived as a prestigious order of merit, this decoration combines history, heraldic symbolism, and international protocol to recognize extraordinary contributions to peace and international relations.
Origin and Heraldic Symbolism

Unlike traditional four-armed crosses (such as the Greek or Latin cross), the design of the Penta Cross features a distinctive five-pointed cross structure.

Each of its five arms represents one of the core pillars of the Principality on the global stage:

Sovereignty: Unwavering respect for international law and state sovereignty.

Peace: A dedicated commitment to dialogue over conflict.

Integrity: Uncompromising ethics in public and diplomatic service.

Classes of the Order

The decoration is conferred in three main classes, depending on the scope of the recipient's achievements:

Grand Collar of the Penta Cross: Reserved exclusively for Heads of State and Sovereigns.

Grand Cross of Honor: Awarded to Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Chancellors, and Ambassadors Extraordinary for distinguished diplomatic service.

Commander / Knight: Conferred upon diplomats, envoys, and prominent figures who have driven high-impact bilateral agreements.

Protocol of Investiture

The presentation ceremony follows a strict state protocol:

Reading of the Decree: The Chancellor of the Principality reads the official sovereign decree detailing the merits for the award.
